Like Father like son! Taylor is already a car freak. Anytime we go to put him in his car seat he leans toward the front seat trying to grab the stearing wheel. On a recent trip to Maceys my wife found Taylor's kind of shopping cart. It kept him entertained for and hour and a half! Wow.

Taylor turned 1 on Oct. 1st, Brielle turned 5 in July and is loving Kindergarten.

Good times on the 4th of July!  Taylor is ready to join the rest of the kid in the pool at Grandma's!  Taylor is now 10 1/2 months old... and knows no fear!   Even Charlie... the fierce Pug is not intimidating to Taylor.    He's growing like a weed.
At the end of the day, we (Brooklyn and Brielle in the pic) sat back and watched Dad, Uncle Michael and Uncle Russell light the fireworks.  Then we drove down to the Stadium of Fire to watch the BIG ones!

Brayden and one of his best friends, Tyler, played on the same team this past season.  They looked like the next "Stockton to Malone"!

Finally!!! Warm enough to get on the Tramp.  As soon as Dad gets home... they all want to jump!  No wonder the trampoline is on it's last leg, look at all those people on there!   Dad can still show them how it's done... but, Brayden just learned how to do a back flip, so watch out Dad!

And then we cam back to this....

What a crazy winter!  As much as I love my Chrysler 300c I think I'm ready to go back to 4wheel drive.  Raelyn's car did awesome in this stuff...me, well I got stuck in a flat, plowed parking lot.  Enough said.

You know, you guys are going to have to deal with me being slow...

O to go back to Mexico!  The Weather was fantastic (Jan. '08), and the friends were even better.   I couldn't stay out of the water...a little skim boarding, a little snorkeling and some deep sea fishing.  (And a lot of me being sea sick... my wife told me before we left, "you should take some Dramamine"... "I'll be fine, I don't get motion sick" I said.   LISTEN TO THE WIFE!!  The picture of me deep sea fishing (Raelyn is video tapping and my good friend Lars is taking a picture) is the only time after the first hour on the boat that I wasn't sick.  As long as I was fishing I was fine.  It took me 30 minutes to reel in my Dorado... which, by the way, our hotel prepared for us as Mahi Mahi..... Unbelievable!!!  I've never had a better "fish" in my life!

Who else can't wait until Spring?

As much as most of us enjoy the snow and the break from the blistering July/August heat...we're ready to get back to a different kind of yard work (other than shoveling snow). Brielle likes to help her Dad mow the lawn. Michael misses "dragging" Raelyn along on the Z club of Utah cruises. We also can't wait to get let the kids out on the trampoline again...let them burn off some energy!

Wow, two updates within a week...or so!

Well, I'm not sure if it's an update as much as it is a "catch up?". Here are a few pics of our trip this last summer to Moon Lake in eastern Utah. For those of you who don't know, this is an annual trip for us, as well as the entire Coles family. (See side bar.) The top pic is of Brooklyn, Brayden and me on our way back from our horse ride. Next, are my two girls warming up to the horses. Feeding the squirrels has become a favorite for Kylan and Brielle. The last pic is of Brayden, with his cousins and the snake they caught.
Good times.

We're not so good at this...

We're going to try harder to update this thing more often. Thanks for the comments, We love all you're blogs. It's fun to see what's been going on.
I thought I would throw some pics in with this post of our trip to Zihuatanejo, Mexico. There are a lot more pics that I'll post soon.
Taylor did extremely well on our flights. Between the two flights we spent 7-8 hours in the air. Here's a pic of both of my babes taking a nap at 40,000 feet, and one of Me and my work buddies, and their wives, on our first Scuba Dive of the trip.
